What is important in getting something is understanding what it is. If you do not understand something, it is impossible to get it other than by luck, and luck is too unreliable to base your life on.
You must understand money and what it can give you. Money does not only give you the things you can buy, or the freedom to not need to work, there is something far more subtle than any of these external things. Understanding this subtle essence that money provides will ignite the fire of passion in you towards attaining your goal.
Financially poor or average people do not understand what it means to be wealthy and what money is and can give you, how it actually changes your life, and the potential to change you into something different, what you can be, not just do but BE, if you are wealthy. This is very logical, they do not have the money and so could not have this experience.
Wealthy is a very subjective concept, it means an amount of money, and that amount is very individual, for some it is 100 million or others 100,000. I enjoy a little game when I meet a new person. I ask if they met god and have been granted one wish, anything at all, what would they ask for. One girl in her 20’s asked for $10,000. Imagine that you can have anything and she wants thousands not millions. Wealthy is very subjective indeed!
You must know what you want. You may have a long list of things you want to have or can do, but if all those things are done, what else would you want. This is the question that the highly successful or famous people who have fallen into depression or committed suicide have failed to ask, or having asked, failed to answer. I believe the reason is that no one explained the question they must ask themselves in a way that they could understand and find the answer to. This has led them down an empty path of a materially rich but devastatingly poor emotional life. I do speak from personal experience of the rise to wealth, fall and levelling off.
That inner goal is the reason we want money, and your particular goal determines how much money you require to be wealthy. This is the vital question you must answer, what do you really want in your life, not just the means to get it. But you must also know the means to get what you want, not just what you want, or you will never get it. Next, you can ask if money can give you that, or if not, what will. If the inner knowledge of what you really want is strong enough, and you subconsciously doubt that money can deliver it, then you have an inner resistance to acquiring the money, and so you never will. There will be an infinite list of excuses you can draw on, but most importantly you will be plagued with a lack of motivation to get yourself to take action and complete the necessary tasks to succeed in your goals.
This failure to succeed is really quite logical and appropriate. Why would you devote your life to chasing a goal that you know will not give you what you really want. If the real goal is subconscious, and the power of the mind to succeed through the common known principles of Think and Grow Rich, or the Law Of Attraction are all based on using the subconscious mind, then of course your subconscious will not manifest what your conscious thinks it wants.
The subconscious sits back listening to your conscious commands saying; “Don’t you worry about all that, you are going in the wrong direction and I can’t be bothered getting out of bed to waste my time working so hard to chase something that will not give you what you really want. Trust me, I am right here with your real goal and you are going the wrong way to get it.”
You also need to understand what money really is and how it can give you what you seek. I say ‘can’ because money itself does nothing, it is inert. How it is used and what it accomplishes is up to the person who possesses it. When you are in need of money you also need many other things. You are stuck, limited, a prisoner, you are not free, you are in need and so take what you can get even if it is counter-productive, such as sticking with a ‘friend’ or place to live which is a very negative influence because you need to have it even if it brings you down. Having enough money that will be enough for the rest of your life, whatever that amount is based on how you want to live, gives you freedom.
With that freedom of not needing anybody to give you a job etc, that you can go to a fancy restaurant, buy presents, have a coffee without thinking of the cost at any time, take a trip around the world and meet new people, you are free. You are no longer a prisoner who has to think about what they do before they do it, if they can afford it or not. That is the beginning of feeling personally free and absolutely balanced and content with your life.
This is why money is necessary, whatever amount that is, to give you total material freedom in your life. When you have that freedom, and I must make it clear that you do not understand the depth of what that means right now because you have not personally experienced it yet, then you will live in heaven on earth.
Heaven on earth does not mean you have wings and can fly or sleep on a feather bed in the perfect place, but that you are in a constant state of emotional and mental bliss while living, if necessary, in physically difficult circumstances here on earth.
Finding what you really want, understanding what money really is and how to use it, you will know how much you need and how to get it. These are the steps to a blissful life. If you cannot find this on your own, then you need a guide.

Thank you for this article. it is very relevant to me. I am going to focus very hard on changing the ingrained way I view money because I think that on a subconscious level I still haven’t aligned it with my goal. Because of that I am in a cage. I need freedom from the worries and guilt and limitations.
